Javea International Festival

Javea's International Festival is one of the town's best and most important events, started more than 20 years ago. This multicultural Festival is located on the Via Augusta Jávea, a strategic point in the municipality and with a magnificent view of the Montgo and very near to the sea.

The International Festival is a great opportunity to taste, in only three days, the culinary specialties of 20 nations and experience their traditions and cultures. Over 20 years this event has grown to exemplify the cultural richness of Jávea, Spain. The festival also invludes music, dancing, and other events.

The festival lasts for 3 days and starts each day with an International Parade from Javea Port , along Avenida del Mediterranean, finishing at Playa Arenal.

Parades & Performances

The festival opens every day with a colourful parade, featuring participants in traditional costumes from various countries.

There are also numerous music and dance performances representing different cultures.

Gastronomy:

One of the main highlights is the diverse food offerings with stalls serving traditional dishes from 19 different countries. This allows visitors to sample a wide range of international cuisines.
