Javea Carnival 2025 | Fiestas in Javea 2025

Javea Carnival 2024 - 1 March 2025

A carnival has been celebrated in Javea since the 80s and has become very popular for Children and Adults. The festivities start with a children's costume parade, followed by a musical performance for them. At night, it is the adults' turn to have fun. From Plaza del Convent starts a colourful parade of costumes and it ends at Plaza de la Constitución where the party continues with a street disco until the early hours of the morning.

The carnival is an opportunity for one last night of excess before the 40 days of lent.

2024 Programme

17:30 Children's Parade sets off from the Plaza Marina Alta to the Plaza de la Constitución. It passes through the streets of Xàbia Histórico Tand arrives back at the Plaza where there will be prizes for the best costumes.

After the children's parade there will be a show called "Fantasyland", a mini mobile disco, musical games and the award ceremony with performances from dancers and entertainers.

23:30 Adult's Parade and Costume Contest. The parade will end in the Plaza Constitución. Music performances will provided by musical entertainment with Monte Carlo Orquestra and the mobile disco.
