The 2024 Javea Fiesta, "Portitxol", will be held in the 2nd weekend of August in Javea and is organised by the residents with help from the town hall.

This Javea fiesta offers 2 days of fun to celebrate the culture of the Valencian region, including many of its musical and dance-related fiesta traditions. The celebration typically offers a parade, traditional dancing, dinner with danding, despertá (general awakening), lunch, traditional games for children, and much more.
The festival is held during the second weekend of August amongst the beautiful scenery of Portitxol, Javea.
Saturday 10 August
19:30 Concert with singer Pep Gimeno "Botifarra" & the Rondalla (ensemble of string intruments).
Snacks for everyone. Afterwards there will be a followed by a parade around the village of Portitxol before traditional Valencian dancing.
22:30 Community dinner where everyone brings their own food. Bar service is provided.
23:30 Music from the orchestra "Bradmis".
Sunday 11th August
10:00 Mid morning snack (Grilled Sardines).
11:00 Traditional games for children & adults.
*All festivities take place in the esplanade in front of Portitxol cross.
