Arenal Beach - Playa Arenal Javea

Playa Arenal is the main sandy beach in Javea - it is a horseshoe shaped beach stretches for half a mile that offers safe, clean, soft sand and is gently sloping into the sea, making it perfect for families.

Playa Arenal Javea has been consistently awarded the Blue Flag by the EU for its quality services and clear waters.

As well as offering a fantastic sandy beach, Playa Arenal also provides its visitors with a wide selection of amenities including an adjoining promenade with Cafes, Bars & Restaurants.

There are several children's play areas as well as Red Cross volunteers & lifeguards in the high season.

Information: 

ACCESS

There is a bus stop and taxi rank just beside the beach, as well as a tourist train (available every day between 10:40 a.m. and 23:40 p.m. Parking spaces are located along the road and on the beach. There is also a paid parking lot on Calle Nancy, 3. 

FACILITIES

Safety: The beach has lifeguards, provided by the Javea Red Cross, as well as health posts.

Assisted Bathing: There are assisted bathing facilities at the south end of the beach, including amphibious chairs.

Children & Families: For the little ones, there are five recreational games facilities along the beach, as well as football goals and handball nets.

Sunbathing: Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented, as can jet skis and water scooters in the summer.

Leisure: Every Tuesday in July and August, there is also an outdoor cinema. There are countless restaurants along the beachfront, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat.

Opening from 7.30 a.m. every day, Ammos Javea has a delicious range of Spanish breakfasts, lunches and dinners. For more information, see here.
