Guide to Javea's Sandy Beaches

Arenal Beach is the main beach in Javea - it is a horseshoe shaped beach stretches for half a mile that offers safe, clean, soft sand and is gently sloping into the sea, making it perfect for families. Playa Arenal Javea has been consistently awarded the Blue Flag by the EU for its quality services and clear waters. It offers a wide selection of amenities including an adjoining promenade with Cafes, Bars & Restaurants. There are several children's play areas as well as Red Cross volunteers & lifeguards in the high season.

Cala Ambolo is a naturist sandy beach located on the Cabo la Nao, although swimwear is allowed. The beach is only 300m in length, but is one of the most beautiful beaches to discover in Javea. It is currently closed due to danger of rockfalls and landslides, but there have been efforts to re-open the beach recently.
